Lorena wins the NSERC Doctoral Award!
After leaving Quebec, Lorena had to relinquish major institutional and provincial scholarships. She has now successfully replaced them with the prestigious and intensely competitive NSERC scholarship.

Changing of the guard:
We thank BSc students, Eshal, Gabriel, Camille (BIOC99), Dilaskha, and Abinaya (BIOB98) for their work in the lab this past semester! This was our largest cohort of undergraduate volunteers working in the lab. Abinaya worked with PhD student Lorena on molecular biology techniques, and the rest were part of Fanfan’s group, performing compound isolation from complex matrices.
